Right in reference to the above, majority who believe in the Almighty do utilize this Bible verse to eat anything whether clean or unclean. Today, let us critically analyze the content of the same verse of “1Timothy 4:4-5” which says: 4 “For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:” 5 “For it is sanctified by the word of God and Prayer.”
Scripture Analysis verse per verse and word per word:
When you read verses 4 and stop there, you can surely go ahead to eat everything (clean and unclean) like pork, camels, rabbits, eagles, cow, sheep, goat, etc.
But when you proceed to verses 5, you realize that whatever you are going to eat first it has to be “Sanctified” by the word of the Almighty and “your Prayer”. Note: The prayer only comes after the sanctification and this is where the majority make the biggest mistake to eat everything they find whether clean or unclean.
Right, when you carefully examine your bible from Genesis to Revelation, you will find the Word of the Almighty sanctifying all what we are supposed to eat and at the same time stopping us from eating some animals, birds, insects, fish, etc. Let us have a look at this scripture in the book of Leviticus 11:1-2 (Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying to them,2 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘These are the animals which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth:). You can read the whole chapter of Leviticus 11:1-47 to find-out all what you are supposed to eat and all that you are not. The Almighty concluded by saying this in “Leviticus 11:46-47” (This is the law of the animals and the birds and every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps on the earth, 47 to distinguish between the unclean and the clean, and between the animal that may be eaten and the animal that may not be eaten.)
How the Bible is misinterpreted in reference to the above
Majority will say that the above is for the “Old Testament” and right now we are in the “New Testament”. Yes you might sound true BUT wrong and do you know why?! This is where you go wrong, in “1Timothy 4:4-5” which is surely in the New Testament, “is making a reference to the Word of the Almighty” which at one moment Sanctified all that we can eat and all that we are not allowed. So if you throw away the Old Testament, then you will eat everything and in the end you will abuse one of the Almighty’s laws which is still binding even if we are in the New Testament as majority state.
Be Blessed and may the Spirit of the Almighty open your Mind to His real Truth.
