I have been reading and hearing about some Jews who decided or decide to return to Israel but to my surprise, some come just to join Israel Defense Forces (IDF), visit historical sites, carry Israel flag around, learn about history and politics of Israel, etc BUT NOT to seek the real truth why their grand had to exile to other nations. According to the Scriptures which we are going to explore, the return of the Jews to their mother land has to be more of Spiritual Benefit than material things such as citizenship, prestige, tourism, etc
Right, here is the TRUTH which will lead you to Constructively and Productively utilize your time while in Israel based on the experience of some of your ancestors who have ever returned from their captivity just like you. One point I have leant from the message below is that, those who actually remained behind had no proper vision of what to do that can help Israel to Stand again. So, if you return to Israel, don’t sit down and relax and put all your confidence in those who have already stayed there for a long time. The current generation of Israel is driven by Politicians yet the Foundation on which Israel was founded was that of God; It is purely a Spiritual Foundation than a Political one. So, when you return, try as much as you can to seek the Spiritual Goods than any other things.
Right, below are pure examples of those who return on a Spiritual background and May the Most High give you the Spiritual understanding of this message:
Because of iniquity, God Judged and gave the House of Israel into captivity Amos 1:1-15; 2:1-16; 3:1-15; 4:1-13. Nehemiah mentioned this in his prayer:
Nehemiah 1:4-11 It came to pass in the month of Chislev, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan[a] the citadel, 2 that Hanani one of my brethren came with men from Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews who had escaped, who had survived the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem. 3 And they said to me, “The survivors who are left from the captivity in the province are there in great distress and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.”
4 So it was, when I heard these words that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.
5 And I said: “I pray, Lord God of heaven, O great and awesome God, Youwho keep Your covenant and mercy with those who love You[b] and observe Your[c] commandments, 6 please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open, that You may hear the prayer of Your servant which I pray before You now, day and night, for the children of Israel Your servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel which we have sinned against You. Both my father’s house and I have sinned. 7 We have acted very corruptly against You, and have not kept the commandments, the statutes, nor the ordinances which You commanded Your servant Moses. 8 Remember, I pray, the word that You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations;[d] 9 but if you return to Me, and keep My commandments and do them, though some of you were cast out to the farthest part of the heavens, yet I will gather them from there, and bring them to the place which I have chosen as a dwelling for My name.’[e] 10 Now these are Your servants and Your people, whom You have redeemed by Your great power, and by Your strong hand. 11 O Lord, I pray, please let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who desire to fear Your name; and let Your servant prosper this day, I pray, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.”
For I was the king’s cupbearer.
- The scattering of the Children of Israel was told to Moses and was remembered in Nehemiah’s prayer; Nehemiah 1:8 8 Remember, I pray, the word that You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, ‘Ifyou are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations;[d]
- After they were Judged and after serving their punishment then the Returning of the Children of Israel was mentioned in Amos 9:14-15 14
I will bring back the captives of My people Israel;
They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them;
They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them;
They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them.
15 I will plant them in their land,
And no longer shall they be pulled up
From the land I have given them,”
Says the Lord your God.
SO, WHY THEN COME TO ISRAEL TO DO WHAT?!
The Children of Israel who are or who have already; are returning to Israel to fulfill what was mentioned in Amos 9:14-15. Further, they are returning to Reconcile with their God who is also our God and to seek salvation as it is mentioned in Isaiah 1:17-18
This is very important and whoever returned and those who are yet to return; take this to your hearts because it is between you to choose between life and death;
Mathew 10:5-9 5 These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead,[a] cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. 9 Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts,
For sure, the Messiah came to Israel but majority rejected Him. Nevertheless, He left the fire burning and He left the Truth in Israel. The Truth is hidden in Israel and it is hard to discover it unless you get to know about this fact from today. People who pronounce His Faith are in Israel and because of the Fear of the cruelty of their REAL Brothers and Sisters, they hid themselves. So, when you GO to Israel, try as much as possible to Look for the REAL Truth which was Proclaimed First by The Messiah Himself.
For you to prove that the Messiah came and got reject and killed by the REAL Children of Israel He came to Redeem read and get to understand what Prophet Isaiah (the one who is widely believed by even those who don’t believe in Messiah) prophesized:
Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness;
And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire Him.
3 He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
4 Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment,
And who will declare His generation?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.
9 And they[a] made His grave with the wicked—
But with the rich at His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was any deceit in His mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.
11 He shall see the labor of His soul,[b] and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,
Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,
And made intercession for the transgressors.
GOD PROMISED THIS TO THE SPIRITUALLY BLINDED CHILDREN OF ISRAEL
I will bring the blind by a way they did not know;
I will lead them in paths they have not known.
I will make darkness light before them,
And crooked places straight.
These things I will do for them,
And not forsake them.
