2014 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Seek God’s Wisdom as Silver/Gold and Search for her as hidden Treasures

I shot the above video early this month (December, 2014) at Namayingo Village, Mayuge District in Eastern Uganda. Oh, this was a very new experience to see how people especially the youth were struggling to look for gold from tons of soils dug from deep under-ground.

Surely when I looked at the whole exercise, I remembered this Bible verse:


Proverbs 2:1-5New King James Version (NKJV)

The Value of Wisdom

My son, if you receive my words,
And treasure my commands within you,
So that you incline your ear to wisdom,
And apply your heart to understanding;
Yes, if you cry out for discernment,
And lift up your voice for understanding,
If you seek her as silver,
And search for her as for hidden treasures;
Then you will understand the fear of the Lord,
And find the knowledge of God.


This verse is telling us to seek and search for God’s wisdom as hidden treasures. Lets examine what exactly happens in search for Gold or silver (earthly hidden treasure) based on what I saw while shooting the above video: Continue reading
