God drew up a plan of preserving those who do His will thousands of years now. This Plan of preserving a section of people of our current generation started to get implemented by God through Abraham the Father of our Faith then to Jesus our True Salvation. It is a highly sensitive and secret plan and only those with God’s Wisdom can actually be able to track out events. Much has already happened, some are currently happening and others are yet to happen according to the Holy Scriptures.
We all know that Isaac the only Promised and Blessed son of Abraham had two sons; Esau the first born and Jacob the last born. According to Jewish culture, Esau the first born was the true heir for Isaac and in this case was the one entitled for a Blessing from his father.
This is how Esau messed up with his Inheritance Rights as well as his father’s Blessing:
First, he sold out his Birthrights to Jacob his younger brother just for food according to Genesis 25:31-34. Likewise, the Bible tells us in Proverbs 23:23 to Buy the truth, and to sell it not; also wisdom, instruction, and understanding. Esau thought that he was only giving away his Birthrights NOT knowing that the Birthrights and the father’s Blessings were supposed to move together. So also, if we sell out the truth we have for our human desires then we don’t have to expect God’s Blessing. This is because, God’s Truth moves together with His Blessing; so, if you need to have His Blessing then you also need to know and have His Truth (True Gospel) with you.
Jacob could not get his Father’s Blessing if he didn’t do the following:
- First, he had to listen, obey and do as per his Mother’s Voice Genesis 27:8. It is in this same sense that Jesus said in John 10:27 that, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” Also, in Revelation 3:20 Jesus mentioned that, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears MY VOICE and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with me.
- Jacob had to get relieved of any Fear of getting cursed by his father (Genesis 27:11-13) when his Mother (Rebekah) assured him that she would bare all the curses. This is in the same sense that Jesus said in Mathew 11:28-30 that, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest…..”
- Rebekah put Esau’s raiment/ garment and skin of the kids of the goats on Jacob before he presented himself to his Father Isaac for a Blessing. This is in the same sense, before we present ourselves before God in order for Him to Bless us, then we need to put on Jesus according to Romans 13:14. Jesus we put on is our Truth, Righteousness, Gospel of Peace, Faith, Salvation, and Word of God according to Ephesians 6:14-17.
Lastly, Jesus said in John 15:7, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
